Tom Fletcher, 36, has updated fans continuously throughout his time away from the dancefloor. His dance partner Amy Dowden, 31, has been video calling the McFly singer to make sure they have the best chance to do well in Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Isolation is NOT stopping team #MCFLOWDEN on MOVIE WEEK!
The singer updated fans with two shots of the video calls the Strictly partnership have had.
In the first picture Tom had his thumbs up smiling and in the second could be seen lying on the floor in his sitting room.
The post said: “How it started vs how it’s going.

“Can’t wait to do this dance on Saturday!”
He added: “Giving it everything I’ve got.”
Fans flooded the comments with their predictions for their performance on Saturday.
Opheliabusted said: “I can’t wait to hear what song you’ll be dancing too.”
Sallyfisher89 added: “Please tell me it’s back to the future… if not it’s a missed opportunity.”
The McFly star and the Strictly pro dancer were forced to miss out on last Saturday’s second live show due to a Covid outbreak.
There has been much speculation on whether the pairing will be returning, with rumours squashed after the instalment.
Tom updated fans with a picture of himself lying on the floor, with sweat dripping off his glasses.
The post said: “Well, the first results show was dramatic and emotional.
“So tough now that someone has to go each week.
“I’m trying to keep in shape in isolation (got the sweat on my glasses to prove it!) so I’m fit and ready to jump back in with @amy_dowden this week for MOVIE WEEK!”
He added: “I cannot wait for this Saturday…I will literally be living my childhood dream.”
The comments were filled with fan excitement as well as a comment from host Tess Daly.
Fellow Strictly celebrity Katie McGlynn said: “Let’s do this!”
They are expected to return to live shows this weekend, with isolation ending for the pair today.
However, this leaves just three days to practise before their next performance.
On Saturday the competition began to heat up, with the first week of eliminations.
Unfortunately, Nina Wadia and her partner Neil Jones were eliminated after a very strong first week performance.
The judges spotted mistakes and technical issues in their tango leaving them to be voted out over Katie.
Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturdays at 6.45pm on BBC One.
