Tunnel cam spotted awkward moment between Hazard and Mourinho at Wembley
Tunnel cam has captured an awkward moment between Eden Hazard and Jose Mourinho ahead of the FA Cup final.
The duo used to work alongside each other at Chelsea, and as a result know each other well, but their relationship has seriously deteriorated in recent years.
Hazard was pleased to see the back of Mourinho when he left his role at Chelsea in 2015 and the club welcomed Antonio Conte.
Shortly after the Italian’s arrival, Hazard said: "Even after a week I think I had progressed with him. I think he’s shown not just at Chelsea but also at Juve that he’s a good coach and I think he has some good years ahead of him."
Mourinho was named Manchester United boss ahead of the 2016/17 campaign, and as a result cut all ties he had with the Chelsea supporters.
But despite this he has remained friendly with some Blues players, as the tunnel cam from Wembley on Saturday proved.
In the video, Mourinho can be seen shaking hands with the mascots, his Manchester United players, and Cesar Azpilicueta while waiting to head out onto the pitch.
He then spots Cesc Fabregas, and walks over to the Spaniard in order to greet him.
Standing immediately behind Fabregas is Hazard, who looks Mourinho straight in the eye but doesn’t acknowledge him in anyway.
Mourinho does the same, and after shaking hands with Fabregas, walks back to where he was originally standing. Very awkward.
