Rebecca Ferguson has married her beau Jonny Hughes, 11 months after he got down on one knee.
The former X Factor contestant, who reached the final in 2010, announced the news on Instagram with a gorgeous photograph of the couple on the big day.
The mum-of-three looked like a real-life princess in a sweetheart neckline ballgown as she beamed next to sports agent Jonny, who wore a blue three-piece suit and pale pink silky tie.
The detail in her dress included thousands of delicate white beads, pearls and sparkling crystals, and she paired the look with a stunning silver tiara and a matching sequin floor length veil.
Her hair was styled into beautiful soft Hollywood waves and her makeup looked effortless with a rose gold smokey eye.
The 35-year-old captioned the picture: “And just like that she went on to live happily ever after! Surprise!’
The announcement, which will be covered by Hello! Magazine, sparked an outpouring of messages wishing her a lifetime of happiness.
Fellow X Factor star Katie Waisell commented: “Muzeltov you gorgeous beautiful wonderful couple you”
Loose Women panellist Nadia Sawalha added: “Awww congratulations beautiful!”
Danielle Lloyd wrote: “Congratulations darling!”
The couple got engaged on New Year’s Day and shared the news on Instagram calling him the ‘love of her life’.
She captioned the sweet post: “I’m so ‘happy’ to announce I am engaged to the love of my life. Dreams can come true!’
She later tweeted: “Finally life got good for me, I am so thankful, I’ve been through so much, I am so happy I found love and I’m excited for the next chapter.”
Though not much is known about the couple, it’s thought she started dating Jonny in 2017.
She actually thought he was going to propose back in 2021, sharing a picture of the two of them wrapped up warm in the snow.
She said: “He bent down and I thought was going to propose turns out he was writing my name in the snow. Still cute but not the same.”
In September, she teased a first-look at her dress as she stood in front of a rail of a dozen gowns.
She wrote: “Every Cinderella finds her happy ending.”
Then 23-year-old Rebecca, from Liverpool, became an overnight star when she wowed judges at her X-Factor audition in 2010 singing a version of Duffy’s Distant Dreamer.
Her delicate voice and soul style pushed her all the way into the final but sadly she lost to Matt Cardle.
