Bride trolled for buying wedding dress online and expecting it to be perfect– people are ‘genuinely stunned’

ONLINE shopping can definitely be a hit-or-miss when it comes to trying new brands.

But one woman revealed she was confident enough to buy her wedding dress online – however the garment she received certainly fell into the “miss” category.

Bride-to-be @emmeblurose shared with her TikTok followers her less-than-pleasant online shopping experience for the dress she planned on walking down the aisle in.

First, she showed a photograph of a gown with a plunging neckline and faux pearl-covered bodice.

The ball gown skirt of the dress dramatically emphasized the natural waistline and seamlessly carried on the beading found on the upper portion of the dress.

The bride was seemingly shocked with the dress she received instead, as the cups in the bust were visibly sticking out from the beading, and the transition from bust to skirt was nowhere near smooth.

Furthermore, the material the skirt was composed of seemed cheap and easily wrinkled.

The bride did not mention where she bought the dress from, but she captioned her video: “Don’t [buy] your wedding dress online…ever.”

The internet largely agreed and many fellow TikTokers trolled the woman for thinking she could get the dress of her dreams online.

“No hate to you- but genuinely stunned that people think you can just buy a wedding dress online and actually get what you want,” one woman slammed.

“How-” a second under commented in disbelief.

Another person tried to encourage the woman and suggested it just needed some TLC.

The poster isn’t the first woman to be disappointed with a dress she bought online.

That’s why wedding fashion expert Nayri Kalayjian warned her followers to never order their dress from an online retailer without trying it on in person.

“We have had so many brides order dresses that they’ve seen in-store and it’s pictured online and ends up being counterfeit,” she said in a video posted to her YouTube channel.

“This is the one purchase that you get to still do with personal touch and connection and you really shouldn’t deprive yourself of that experience,” she added.

Hopefully, the bride who shared her wedding dress horror story has time to fix the one she bought or to find a much more satisfactory gown before her big day.

Meanwhile, other brides are continuing to share their wedding dress fiascos as well.

For instance, one bride admitted she snapped at a teenager for buying a dress for her sweet 16 during her wedding dress appointment.

Another recalled her mother-in-law wearing her own wedding dress to her nuptials, but explained that she and her husband got revenge.
