Fashion Nova has found itself in another sticky situation.
On Thursday, the online retailer reposted an Instagram photo of a model wearing Fashion Nova’s very skimpy “Marbella Swimsuit” and captioned, “Are You Ready To Heat Things Up?”
But some Instagram users want Fashion Nova to cool down and claimed that the post was too revealing.
“Her vagina is literally hanging out,” one person commented on the photo. Other users chimed in with similar sentiments, calling for the digital brand to remove the photo.
But as of Friday, the photo was still on Fashion Nova’s Instagram and had garnered more than 17,500 likes. Tamika Wilson, the model who originally uploaded the racy image, has also kept it on her social media page.
The swimsuit retails for $29 and features a “Deep V Neckline” and a “Brazilian Cut,” according to the brand’s website.
Fashion Nova is no stranger to controversy. The budget-friendly retailer, which has collaborated with the Kardashians and Cardi B, has drawn social media backlash for selling geisha costumes.
