Glossier launches its first ever mascara for £14 and it's set to sell out

Marketed as the “perfect everyday mascara”, Lash Slick promises to “enhance the look of your natural lashes instead of clumping them together.”

This eagerly awaited product is the latest addition to the cult minimal make-up range that includes beauty blogger-apprived Cloud Paint liquid blushers and cult-favourite Boy Brow eyebrow gel.

Aspiring to look like lash “extensions without the extensions”, Lash Slick “curls and sculpts as it lengthens” while “film-forming polymers” lock fibres into place.

Adopting what is known as a water-resistant formula, Lash Slick is more durable than an ordinary mascara but not as drying as a waterproof.

Fans of the brand will be thrilled with the mascara’s adorable millennial pink packaging that is effectively made for Instagram flat-lays.

Already boasting some seriously impressive statistics, 91% of people said that Lash Slick lasts all day while a further 94% agreed that the formula doesn’t flake.

At £14, this super-hyped new launch is a more accessible price-point and sits in-between a high street and high-end mascara.

Glossier CEO and uber-perfectionist Emily Weiss revealed last August that the company have “been working on a mascara since we launched” and was even going to release one in 2016.

But she admitted that she personally wasn’t proud of the product.

Lash Slick itself it the product of exactly 248 trial formulations.

Taking to Instagram to tease their 1 million devoted followers last night, Glossier posted an image of a toy cows with the caption “#lashgoals”.

Eager fans quickly went into a beauty-induced meltdown, commenting “I’m so so so excited OH MY GOD” and “@glossier is seriously going to ruin me financially.”

In true Glossier style, Lash Slick is cruelty-free, hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.

Be sure to order now while they're still available. Go go go.
