A SAVVY mum has revealed the lazy 5p hack she swears by to make her home smell clean and fresh.
Ash Reid, from Glasgow, regularly shares her lifestyle tips and shopping hauls on social media, Ash – Mama Reid.
In a recent video, she offered up some essential "mum hacks" for the summer holidays.
And one tip could save you time as well as money.
Ash – mum to Ella, eight, and six-year-old Charlie – said: "With having more friends and family round I’m sure like most of you, you want people to come in and think your house feels clean and tidy and smells fresh."
And revealing her genius hack, she added: "I use tumble dryer sheets in my cushions.
"Basically I take my tumble dryer sheets – usually in the scent spring awakening – and I slide one of them into each of my cushions.
"Every time you sit down you smell the fragrance of the cushions and they smell fantastic.
"Especially having a dog at home, I’m always really paranoid about the smell of my house.
"So this is a really good way of making sure it smells fresh and the living room feels tidy."
