I'm a cleaning pro – my easy tip will remove stuck-on food from pans with minimal effort & it doesn't cost a cent

DOING dishes just got a whole lot easier.

Home expert Noell Jett posted a video sharing her easy secret for scrubbing stubborn food off of her dishes.

Before cleaning, Jett said to fill up a bowl with ice water.

No matter what she is cleaning, she said she dips her scrubber in the ice water first.

"I dip it in the ice water for just a few seconds so it becomes a very heavy duty scrubber," she said.

"It gets out all those stuck on messes."

Remove flooring scuffs using a $1 item you probably have lying around

In her video, Jett uses a Scrub Daddy sponge, which can be purchased on Amazon for about $8.

When dipped in cold water, the scrub sponges become firm when and become extra tough for scrubbing.

"Hot/warm water makes it like a soft sponge and cold makes it a tough sponge," she said.

"I keep a bowl of ice water next to whatever I'm scrubbing," she said.
