RAISE your hand if every time you go grocery shopping, you end up spending $100 and then half of your food goes to waste.
Well, fret no more, because a home expert has revealed her routine to make sure she never overbuys at the grocery store.
Taking to social media, Ariel Benjamin, who is a home decorator from California, revealed people need to learn how to properly go grocery shopping to avoid overspending "all the time."
"The way that I shop is that I write three things I want for breakfast, three things I want for lunch, and three things I want dinner," Benjamin began in her video.
"Then I write all the ingredients I need, check my fridge and pantry for those things.
"I also check to see what I'm running low on and add them to my list. That's 90 percent of my budget and the 10 percent is for things I see at the grocery store, and I stick to that religiously."
She further suggested to never go to the grocery store hungry "or you're going to buy everything on site."
Following her video, others commented on how they prevent themselves from overspending and one person claimed they go twice in one week.
"I plan weekly meals, have a list, set a max amount of how much I'll spend," they commented.
"I also go two times per week. I spend $20 alone for my groceries per week."

But if overspending is not your problem, a mom has revealed how she takes her baby to the grocery store without having to drag both a shopping cart and stroller.
In the clip, she demonstrated how her husband was able to lug a stroller and store cart at the same time.
To do this, he simply lifted the front wheels of the stroller and locked them into the bar at the bottom of the cart.
Once the wheels were secured, he was good to go!
With this hack, you won't have to worry about pushing a shopping cart and pulling a stroller, or waking your baby up after finally putting them down.
