PIERS SLAMS HARRY AND MEGHAN'S PODCAST NEWS

Piers Morgan has hit out at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's "narcissistic" Spotify deal after he thought the trailer was a spoof.

The Good Morning Britain presenter branded the couple as "the most god-awful royal grifters" as they rake in £30million from their new venture.

Slamming the pair's new venture in the Daily Mail, he wrote: "As with everything the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to do these days, their new commercial venture appears to be driven by large dollops of narcissism, hypocrisy and greed."

KATE MIDDLETON IS A 'VERY CONFIDENT MUM'

Kate Middleton is “no pushover” and a “very confident mum” to George, seven, Charlotte, five, and Louis, two, according to a pal.

The friend revealed that the Duchess of Cambridge, 38, is “very chilled at home”, whether at Kensington Palace or in Norfolk.

A friend told People: “It’s a normal, busy family home with kids running around and knocking things over. There’s no airs and graces.

“When you see her behind closed doors with the children, she’s a very confident mom, and she’s no pushover.

MEGHAN SHARED MISCARRIAGE HEARTBREAK TO 'SUPPORT OTHER WOMEN'

Meghan bravely shared her miscarriage heartache to support other women who faced the same tragedy in silence, an insider claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex, 39, last month penned an emotional op-ed that revealed the "unbearable grief" she and husband Prince Harry had gone through after losing their second child.

In the deeply personal essay for the New York Times, the mum revealed she had to be hospitalised four months ago after feeling a "sharp cramp" before losing her unborn baby.

A source told People magazine Meghan had bravely decided to share her experience to break the "cycle of solitary mourning".

The insider told the US outlet: "They kept their miscarriage private for months because it was very painful and not anything that they knew if they would ever want to share.

“They both seemed shocked at how painful it was.

“Meghan was ready to share now because so many women go through the same thing in silence.”

She praised those who “made sure those around them did not have to suffer in isolation” in a video message for CNN.

"And they showed us, all of us, that even in the darkest times, when we come together, we have the power to remind someone else that there is hope, and that we will be okay," Meghan said.

In her message, Meghan thanked those who fed children when kids' lunch programs were paused, saying a warm meal is “as comforting as a much-needed hug”.

"It will be more in line with who they are and the way they want to operate from now on."

MEGHAN NAMED MOST POPULAR ROYAL AHEAD OF THE QUEEN AND KATE

The former actress was crowned the top royal in a worldwide survey by OnBuy, with a popularity score of 14.5 per cent.

While Meghan has made fewer public appearances this year, due to coronavirus and relocating to California with Archie and Prince Harry, it seems her Zoom speeches and heartfelt essays have proved a hit with the public.

Hot on her heels was the Duchess of Cambridge, 38, who had a ranking of 14.4 per cent, and in third place was the Queen, 94, with a 14.3 per cent popularity score.

But the mum-of-three did come out on top in Instagram searches, with Kate known to be a keen photographer, often taking candid snaps of her three children.

Meghan, 39, won over the public despite her and Prince Harry announcing they were stepping back as senior royals earlier this year.

MEGHAN 'ANGERS PALACE' BY GETTING OPRAH WINFREY TO FLOG COFFEE INVESTMENT ON INSTAGRAM, INSIDERS CLAIM

Palace insiders told The Mirror that there were "more than a few raised eyebrows" as it emerged that the Duchess of Sussex had invested in the oat-milk latte start-up Clevr Blends.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit the Royal Family in January, the couple announced their plans to become "financially independent" while still "continuing to uphold the values of Her Majesty."

The Duchess has reportedly started "building a portfolio of startup investments" – and sent her A-list pal Oprah Winfrey a package of coffee samples to try earlier this week.

The TV host, 66, took to Instagram to thank a mystery neighbour named as “M” for gifting her a basket full of latte mixes.

She wrote: "On the first day of Christmas my neighbor 'M' sent to me… a basket of deliciousness! (Yes that M) My new drink of choice for the morning and night."

Meghan has proven she is a big fan of white blooms, having selected sweet peas, lily of the valley, astilbe, jasmine, and astrantia and Diana's favourite forget-me-nots for her wedding.

When speaking about how to "fake fancy" her home, she advised: "Purchase silver serving trays, platters, nut bowls from flea markets or Etsy to add formality to hors d'oeuvres passing. "

Meanwhile, for hallways you could add garlands or magnolia branches round banisters or mantelpieces.

"Holidays with your friends allows you to break the family traditions and avoid Aunt Julie's fruit cake!" Meghan explained.

    MEGA CHRISTMAS

Meghan Markle once revealed the benefits of having a non-traditional Christmas and spending the festive season with friends instead of family.

In an unearthed interview with Grazia, from before Meghan became a royal, the Duchess suggested hosting a buffet with mates instead of the traditional Christmas dinner.

The former actress, who ran her own lifestyle website The Tig, confessed she always made "way too much", and advised on making an elegant table.

The Duchess, 39, suggested "keeping it simple and crisp" with the table laid with white crockery and a white table cloth.

Gilded plates should be used, along with napkin rings and a "stylish set of cutlery."

She added: "All white flowers placed in the low vases are the perfect centrepiece."

"They've bailed out of all that. And they're now making gazillions doing all these commercial – very commercial deals – which is absolutely fine except they're only making the money because they're the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Otherwise they wouldn't make a bean."

    BAD REACTION

Piers Morgan pretended to vomit into a bin live on Good Morning Britain as he ranted about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's multi-million-pound podcast.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed a £30million deal with Spotify to launch their own podcast.

Prince Harry and Meghan giggled and hummed Christmas songs during a heavily scripted three-minute trailer released by the audio streaming service.

However, Piers clearly didn't enjoy the podcast snippet – as he pretended to vomit into a bin.

After removing the bin from his face, he said: "I'm so sorry, how awkward?"

Piers then added: "But underneath the vomit-making, look, if they want to do vomit-making podcasts – it's entirely their right – but it boils down once again, what are they thinking at Buckingham Palace?"

PODCAST IS ABOUT 'FINDING COMMON GROUND'

Harry and Meghan's new podcast will be about meeting people and finding common ground, the couple have said.

The pair were speaking in a trailer for the project, which will be released as part of a deal with Spotify and is expected to debut next year.

"One of the things my husband and I have always talked about is a passion for meeting people and hearing their stories," Meghan says.

"No matter what the story, they usually offer you an understanding of where someone else is coming from."

Harry adds: "And that's what this project is all about. To bring forward different perspectives and voices that perhaps you haven't heard before and find our common ground. Because when that happens, change really is possible."

    MEGA PALS

Meghan Markle is now one of the most recognised stars worldwide but just four years ago was pictured “climbing the ladder” at a high society party in 2016.

The then-Suits actress partied with Lizzie Cundy and Phones4U WAG Claire Caudwell at Claire’s pad in Mayfair in a never-before-seen snap.

Meghan can be seen in a silk, one-shoulder dress, wearing her trademark brunette locks down.

At the party, Lizzie and Claire reportedly attempted to find the American actress a “famous British man” to date after the breakdown of her marriage to TV producer Trevor Engelson.

At the time, the actress was relatively unknown in the UK, apart from those who knew her as Rachel Zane in the Netflix legal drama.

However, later that same year, Meghan was set up with Prince Harry on a blind date, with the pair announcing their engagement in 2017, and tying the knot in May 2018.
