Mum fumes as Poundland's £5 'mini float' for her kids' paddling pool is so big it takes up her entire living room

PARENTS are snapping up paddling pools and fun water accessories wherever they can in a bid to get some much needed relief from the scorching weather.

But one mum ended up battling a giant peacock pool float after the ginormous pool accessory filled her entire living room

For just £5 from Poundland you'd think it was a bargain, and perhaps it was.

But mum Adele Love was expecting a "mini float" which could easily fit inside her kids' paddling pool – not one to feature inside her home.

You see, she made the mistake of blowing it up inside her home, but now she can't get it out as it's way to big to fit through the door.

Posting in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, Adele revealed: "Brought from Poundland at 5.00 described as a mini float for the paddling pool.

"Yh right can’t get it out the front room and no way is it fitting in the 20 quid paddling pool from Argos." (sic)

She also shared a snap of the float in question with her young tot laying on it for reference – and he looked miniscule in comparison.

Clearly group members found the blunder hilarious as the post racked up 12,000 likes and over 1,300 comments.

"That's massive, especially for that price. It can be used as a sun bed," one person remarked.

"I'm in bits hahahaha" said another. Who added: "Well worth the money though."

While a third chimed: "Omg haha normally when you buy from Poundland it comes the size of a bowl."

Which, unfortunately, many said they experienced with a paddling pool they bought.

One explained: "I bought my 19 week old baby a paddling pool from Poundland I wasn’t expecting something huge but I wasn’t excepting what I got I don’t even think he’ll fit in it."

The annoyed shopper also shared a picture of the pool she received, which barely fit her own foot.

One person said in response: "I think they're getting their paddling pool and inflatables descriptions mixed up."
