Nike's "Topography" Pack Is Decked With Wavy Checks and Contours
Nike has unveiled its “Topography” pack, offering bold updates to the Air Max Plus 3, Air Max Plus and Air Force 1. Each shoe has been rendered with patterns of wavy checks and contours that mirror the look of topographic maps.
Both the Air Max Plus 3 and Air Max Plus display uppers that are dominated by the aforementioned patterns. The former silhouette boasts a white colorway with black streaks that run along the sidewalls. An embroidered Swoosh, alongside tiny accents at the eyelets, sports a bright red tone that pops out from the rest of the shoe. The Air Max Plus also has a red Swoosh, but it’s set against a body that’s colored in dark purple and black. A glossy rubber patch logo is placed at the tongue, followed by a row of thin red lines that extend all the way down to the toes. Other details like sleek black webbing at the sidewalls and an articulated midsole round off the designs of the silhouette. In comparison to these two models, the Air Force 1 of this pack embodies a much simpler design. Most of the shoe is kept minimal with clean white leather uppers and a white midsole. This time, the topographical pattern is only seen on the side Swoosh and heel, while red highlights show up at the tongue tag, heel counter and rear end of the midsole to complete the shoe’s distinctive look.
Though no official release dates have been announced yet, Nike’s “Topography” Pack is expected to arrive soon before the end of the year on the footwear label’s website, ranging from $110 – $190 USD.
In case you missed it, Drake and Nike have announced a collaborative NOCTA line.
