The Dutch Royal Family spent the afternoon taking their biannual photoshoot at the Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam, which is currently showing the popular Juliana exhibition. Queen Maxima and her daughters stunned for the occasion in colourful outfits.
Queen Maxima, 51, wore a colourful floral cloak that has been featured regularly and comes from an earlier collection by Oscar de la Renta.
The Queen Consort has worn this coat since January 2020, but is unfortunately no longer available to purchase.
Originally costing $4,590, or roughly £4,060 in British Sterling, this “Floral Fil Coupe” by Oscar de la Renta is designed for the “style maximalist”, according to the product description.
It says: “This long coat is the perfect layering piece for the style maximalist. It is tailored from a vivid juniper with half the panels on the reverse to add dimension and highlight the extraordinary detail of the fabric.”

The coat features a notched collar, a front fastening, long sleeves, two front pockets, a straight hem and an embroidered brocade design.
The rich colour palette allows Queen Maxima to combine the coat with a wide variety of outfits.
Today, she paired the coat with a top and skirt by Roberto Collina, previously worn on a working visit.
Maxima opted for the “Plissé Skirt in Bordeaux”, which is crafted from vegan leather, and “features a laser cut hem for a seamless finish” according to its description.
She paired the skirt with a “short-sleeved Merino jumper in burgundy” from the same designer.
The top, which has a ribbed hem, originally sold for $235 (or £207) before selling out.
Maxima’s eldest daughter, Princess Amalia, 18, wore a green trouser suit for today’s occasion.
She teamed this with a “HERA” blouse from Zeus + Dione, which retails for €550, or roughly £481 in British Sterling.
According to the description, it is a “classic fit with a contemporary collarless neckline” and is “woven in a deep olive, rust and silver colour palette”.
Princess Amalia is the heir apparent to the throne of the Netherlands.
In January 2023, Amalia will go on a tour of the Dutch Caribbean with her parents. They will visit Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. It will be her first official royal tour as the future Dutch Queen.
She recently began studying at the University of Amsterdam, however, the future Queen had to return home due to threats made against her.
The middle child, Princess Alexia, 17, appeared to wear a grey blazer over a pale blouse and black trousers.
Finally, Princess Ariane, 15, opted for a checkered blazer, previously worn by her mother Queen Máxima.
It is currently unknown where the garment is from, but was seen worn by the Queen Consort during the coronavirus pandemic.
