Stylish £15m Florida mansion comes with its own CHANEL-inspired boutique
The £15 million pad, which is located in Palm Beach County’s exclusive gated community, has a walk-in closet the late Coco Chanel would be proud of.
The mega-rich owners worked with the team who created the iconic French brand’s chic stores.
Accessories and high-end clothing is displayed on high-gloss, lacquered black-and-white cabinetry.
Each item has its own space, as in a shop, lit from all sides to show it off to greatest effect.
Just like in the boutique, the centrepiece cabinet has glass-encased drawers for storing jewellery, small bags, sunglasses, and other items that need to lay flat.
The cabinet is topped by an enormous bottle of Chanel No. 5 perfume.
Listing agent Senada Adzem, of Douglas Elliman, said: “The premise was that collectables and couture items deserve to be displayed and enjoyed like art.
“It’s an investment in a lifestyle that enhances the value of a home as many other people realise its necessity when they see it—wondering ‘how didn’t I think of this?’
"It sets the estate apart from competition in an authentic and compelling way.”
The spectacular 26,654-square-foot pad is situated on a 2.67-acre waterfront lot and has seven bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.
It is infused with glamorous haute couture interiors – the hallway chandelier is designed to resemble an exquisitely crumpled flowing gown.
The contemporary estate’s dramatic two-story grand portico foyer and 30-foot floor-to-ceiling Great Room window radiate natural light into the home, amid a lavish 30-foot-high Carrera fireplace.
Other rooms are embellished with lavish chandeliers or bathed in pastels.
The charm extends beyond the awe-inspiring closets, starting with a main open kitchen, another industrial catering kitchen, and a dining room decorated with more than £75,000 of imported Terzani lighting fixtures.
The incredible home also has a cinema, a 100,000-bottle wine room, hidden-door cigar room, 14-car collector garage, and a saltwater oasis swimming pool, grotto and rock wall.
There’s also a combo basketball-tennis court, gym, spa area and massage room.
For entertainment, the house includes a sports memorabilia game room, a posh hotel-inspired bar, and a 4,000-square-foot transitional indoor-outdoor lounge with summer kitchen and outdoor wood-burning oven.
Meanwhile, the six-storey Notting Hill mansion with access to private garden made famous in Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts film is on sale for £13.2m.
