Taylor Swift's make-up artist uses THIS product to achieve her flawless skin, and you can try it for £12

The beauty mogul, who has over 150,000 followers on Instagram and a clientele list boasting the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Brie Larson, says her favourite base product for a glowy finish is Caudalie's Beauty Elixir, £12.

"For me, a great base is all about prep – and the products I use will all depend on the skin type of the client that I'm working with." said Lottie.

"I always start skin prep by cleansing with a micellar water like Bioderma, then I LOVE to mist the face with Caudalie's Beauty Elixir BEFORE applying eye cream, moisturiser and lip balm."

And when it comes to applying a base?

"If I use a primer, I always opt for the NARS Pore & Shine Control Primer, £28. I'm also obsessed with Urban Decay's All Nighter Spray, £24 for fixing base make-up in place.

"I'll usually spritz onto a beautyblender, £17 before lightly pressing it over the face for extra staying power."

California-born Lottie also gave some surprising advice on perfect a smouldering smoky eye, like Rihanna usually sports on the red carpet.

"I don't use eye primers, as I prefer to work in layers and use cream formulas underneath powder eye shadow," she explained.

"This gives the eye a pop of colour, and makes your eye look last all day."

The make-up artist, who has recently been announced as beautyblender's Global Pro Artist, not only works with a long list of celebrities but also works backstage at fashion week and on huge campaigns for the likes of Calvin Klein and Marc Jacobs. She often shows off her incredibly creative work on Instagram.
