As restrictions ease and the weather turns warmer, people will be coming together to eat and drink, and supermarkets are already stocking up on products to help people make the most of al-fresco dining. Today, Aldi is re-introducing its popular pizza oven to its Specialbuys range, as well as other outdoor kitchen products.
It is likely that thousands of Britons will be hosting their own barbecues this summer as restrictions start to ease from next week onwards.
On Monday, March 29, the Government has announced that the rule-of-six will return, which sees the allowing of six people from six different households to meet up outside.
It is the next step in Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s roadmap out of lockdown.
Aldi’s pizza oven is perfect for outdoor dining and costs only £39.99.
The portable Gardenline BBQ Pizza Oven has already proved to be very popular among Aldi customers as it has sold out online.
Therefore, it is available in store only from today, March 25.
The oven works on gas and charcoal barbecues and attaches to your appliance, using its heat to cook your homemade pizza.
Featuring a ceramic pizza stone, the oven fits 12 inch pizzas and cooks them to a perfect crisp in only 10 minutes.

The oven has a stainless steel interior and a temperature gauge.
It is also comes with two handles, making it easy for you to carry to friends’ houses from next week onwards.
As well as the pizza oven, Aldi is introducing four more outdoor kitchen products to its Specilabuys range today.
One of these items is a ceramic barbecue egg – again to cook food in outside on your patio or in your garden.
The Gardenline Kamado Ceramic Egg BBQ costs £349.99 and features a temperature gauge, a steel hinge, a chimney top, a fire grate, and two cooking grills.
The appliance’s design is Japanese-inspired and enables you to cook both succulent and smoky food.
Although it’s expensive, it is a lot cheaper than the BBQ Eggs at other stores.
The other products in Aldi’s outdoor range are the Ambiano Electric Grill and the Gardenline Kettle BBQ Trolley.
The Ambiano Electric Grill is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, while the Gardenline Kettle BBQ Trolley is for outdoor use only.
The trolley comes with a 22 inch diameter cold rolled steel kettle barbecue with enamel coating built into a trolley, as well as wooden and rubber chopping board.
It has a plethora of features, including a chrome plated food grill, a zinc plated charcoal grid, a warming grill, hooks to keep cooking utensils, and a storage shelf.
Additionally, its wheels make it easy to push around your patio or garden – perfect for barbecues with friends as the weather turns warmer.
