Aldi’s iconic Hanging Egg Chair is back by popular demand and now it is large enough to fit two people.

Back in April, thousands of customers queued virtually to get their hands on the must-have item that went on sale at 8am, but by 8.15am the chair had completely sold out.

According to Birmingham Live, more than 200,000 people joined the impressive queue in a bid to get their hands on this season's hottest furniture trend.

And after many customers were left disappointed, the supermarket chain listened to their buyers and launched a new version of the chair just in time for the summer.

But the bigger the chair, the bigger the price, with the cost of the much-loved chair increased by a further £100, now costing £249.99 as opposed to £149 for the smaller version.

The two chairs are practically identical, with the only two noticeable differences being the increased size and the furniture being a slightly darker shade of grey, so fans are expected to love the new garden feature just as much.

The chair is the perfect addition to any outdoor space, especially as the summer months roll in with customers ready to snuggle up with their loved one after a fun-filled day soaking up the rays to watch the sun set together.

And customers don’t have long to wait, with the launch of the must-have item set to be released on Sunday, 4 July.

The product won’t be available to buy in-store, so customers will need to head to Aldi’s website to get their hands on it once more.

But with the increased demand for the hanging love seat, buyers have been warned that the chair is expected to sell out quick so customers will need to set a date for the product launch.

The cost-effective furniture has been increasingly popular with spenders after the launch at such an affordable price compared to other more costly equivalents on the market with an uncanny resemblance to the high end items.

But the chair isn’t just aimed at people, after the supermarket giant launched an adorable egg hanging chair for your pets.

Costing at just £34.99, your furry friend could match you in style, as you swing the day away.

For families with larger breeds of dog, Aldi also offers a mini lounger for their pampered pooch who are looking to lay out in the shade after a busy day of playing fetch.
