Below Deck Sailing Yacht‘s Alli Dore recently shared why seeing herself on the series has been healing. Especially during the moment when she worried about appearing on camera in a swimsuit.
Dore and chief stew Daisy Kelliher discussed feeling vulnerable wearing a swimsuit in front of the other crew members. The two stews laughed about how they both felt insecure in a swimsuit. But they joined the crew and still had fun. Dore now shared that she looked back on the season and the vulnerabilities she experienced, revealing that the journey has been therapeutic.
‘Below Deck Sailing’ was a reflective experience for Alli Dore
Dore posted a series of photos on Instagram. The first image was from the season of Dore looking happy and healthy during one of the crews’ days off. The other photos were throwback images that Dore said were taken during a time when she wasn’t treating her body with respect and nurturing herself.
