Beyoncé's Protégés, Chloe x Halle, Delivered a Beautiful Performance During the Super Bowl

Sisters and musical duo, Chloe x Halle, kicked off the 2019 Super Bowl with a gorgeous rendition of “America the Beautiful” right in their home town of Atlanta.

The Grammy-nominated sisters wowed audiences around the country with their vocals and even left most viewers speechless.

Beyoncé is most definitely proud of her young protégés!

They gave a strong performance

With a tremendous amount of controversy surrounding the Super Bowl and its performers, Chloe x Halle did not let that stop them from showcasing their amazing vocals. The dup received high praise for performing “America The Beautiful”, a song not many singers are able to beautiflly execute.

Dressed in all black sequins ensembles, Chloe, 21, and Halle, 19, took the stage as all eyes of spectators and players were on them.

Accompanied by a deaf activist, Aaron Loggins, who translated the song in sign language, Chloe x Halle began their own rendition of “America the Beautiful” and viewers were visibly moved by their heartfelt performance.

After bringing America to tears, Gladys Knight took the stage to sing an equally beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.

Chloe x Halle are no strangers when it comes to performing at major sporting events. In 2017, the sisters sang the National Anthem during the NFL draft.

Who are Chloe & Halle?

Since winning our hearts over with their amazing vocals, many are still wondering who exactly are Chloe and Halle.

Chloe and Halle Bailey are two sisters from Atlanta, Georgia, who began their journey as singers making videos on YouTube.

The duo would put their own spin on hit songs and were soon gaining recognition for their undeniable talent.

Their rendition of “Pretty Hurts” by Beyoncé caught the singer’s attention and the two sisters were soon signed to her record label in 2015.

After releasing their EP, Sugar Symphony, in 2016, it was evident that these two sisters had a gift that would lead to a extremely successful career.

As Beyoncé protégés, Chloe x Halle made cameo appearances in the singer’s visual album, Lemonade.

The also served as the opening act for The Formation Tour in 2016 as well as Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s On The Run II Tour in 2018.

The write and produce their own music

Chloe x Halle’s debut album, The Kids Are Alright, was written and produced exclusively by them.

After the album’s release in 2018, people began to realize how talented this duo really was.

Chloe x Halle spent three years perfecting The Kids Are Alright and their hard work has paid off.

The dynamic duo is currently nominated for two Grammy Awards. Once for Best New Artist and the other for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

“Our debut album The Kids Are Alright means so much to us,” state Chloe x Halle. “This is three years of self-discovery, vulnerability, and growth, all put into one album. We’ve put our hearts and souls into every lyric, every beat, and we cannot wait for the world to hear.”

The album features songs that have been showcased in mainstream media. The song “Warrior” was featured in the Walt Disney Pictures film A Wrinkle in Time.

Their song, “The Kids Are Alright” was featured in the series debut of the Freeform original series, Grown-ish.

Chloe x Halle are on the rise

There is no where left but up for Chloe and Halle Bailey.

After receiving much success from their music over these past four years, Chloe x Halle have solidified their talent with the Super Bowl performance.
