But for these fun-loving folks, putting on their finery to take out the bins also means they’re benefiting a charity.

‘Bin here, bin there…in fact bin nowhere’ is a campaign in aid of cancer support centre Maggie’s Manchester, which sees people get glammed up to move their rubbish to the street.

Those who take part are encouraged to share their glamorous photo on social media, tag some friends to do the same and then make a donation to the charity, which is based at The Christie Hospital in the city.
