Forget friendship bracelets! Fashion label launches swimsuits and leggings that can be personalised with your pal’s FACE (so would you wear one?)
- An online store on Etsy has launched swimsuits which can be personalised
- The bizarre one pieces can be printed with a photo of the customer’s friend
- The pattern is all over the product, including in rather intimate areas
Some friends have matching jewellery or tattoos, but one company is captialising on the bond between best friends on a whole new level.
Texas-based label Guestbookery are selling swimsuits that can be customised with a photo of your best friend’s face.
And shoppers will have to be very close to their pals, as the print covers every inch of the £31 (£41) swimsuit – including the most intimate areas.
In a tongue-in-cheek item description, the brand advertises its product as being a swimsuit you’ll ‘never forget’.

The product is made of a stretchy chlorine-resistant fabric and comes in sizes extra small to 3XL (extra-extra-extra large).
The brand’s Etsy page reads: ‘LOL If you want to get your family and friends a swimsuit that they will never forget, you sure found the right one!’
The brand says customers can upload up to four different photos to have several friends on their products
They also sell personalised leggings, beach towels, t-shirts, phone cases and cushions
While the costume has been advertised as one to put your best friends’ face on, the brand will print any picture that shoppers send in.
Though the company is based in the US, it can be delivered to the UK with an £11.95 shipping fee.
And it’s not the only product that Guestbookery can personalise, as they also offer customisable beach towels, kitchen aprons and clothes.
If you were to buy one, you’d be just one of many sporting bizarrely-printed swimsuits this summer.
Earlier this year a company released swimsuits printed with the faces of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to celebrate the royal wedding
They appeared on This Morning, where they were mocked by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby for the unfortunate placement of the royals’ faces
Ahead of the royal wedding last month, a company called bagsoflove.com released one pieces emblazoned with the faces of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The swimsuits made an appearance on ITV’s This Morning, which left hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofeld in stitches because of the risque placement of the new Duke of Sussex’s face.
Phil exclaimed: ‘Oh no! What the hell were they thinking? They should have just moved his face up a bit.’
Holly giggled and said: ‘I think they knew what they were doing, actually.’
