Johnny Depp's ex-girlfriend Kate Moss is reportedly set to testify at the actor's defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 58, dated supermodel Kate, 48, back in the nineties, with the couple enjoying a very high-profile romance from 1994 until 1997.
Kate's reported appearance in court comes after Amber, 35, brought up the model in her testimony on 5 May.
The actress said she had felt connected to Kate, referencing a longstanding rumour that Johnny had pushed Kate down the stairs in the 1990s.
As she's now been mentioned along with the alleged incident, Johnny's lawyers are now able to call Kate to the stand as a character witness for the American actor, and she is reportedly set to appear via video link.
But what happened between Johnny and Kate and why didn't things work out? Let's take a look…
Following his split from Winona Ryder, Johnny met supermodel Kate and a 90s power couple was born.
The pair met in New York when they were both at the exclusive eatery Café Tabac in the trendy East Village. Kate was 20 and Johnny was 31 when the couple were introduced by the columnist George Wayne.
Speaking on Instagram in 2019, George explained: “One fateful night mid 90’s at Cafe Tabac which was the supermodel hangout back in the day!
“Johnny was in the back having dinner and Kate walked in with Naomi and The GW grabbed her and made the introduction! I had no idea that they would then become the IT couple for seasons to come ….destroying hotel rooms across the globe during their still unforgettable union!”
Their romance was physically charged from the start with a friend once telling People Magazine that "they can't keep their hands, lips, mouths, legs off each other".
However, rumours of huge arguments circled around the couple and once the police were called after a row got of hand.
In September 1994, Johnny was arrested for criminal mischief after trashing his hotel room. The charges were dropped in exchange for a vow to stay out of trouble for six months and the payment of a huge bill of damages.
In 1997, the couple split for good after their relationship became unworkable due to Johnny's hectic work schedule and his self-admitted failure to give Kate the "attention I should have done".

Speaking in 1998, he said: “I have never got that emotional over a woman before.
“I have been so stupid because we had so much going for our relationship. I’m the one who has to take responsibility for what happened — I was difficult to get on with, I let my work get in the way and I didn’t give her the attention I should have done.
“The whole thing was crazy because I should never have got so worked up over what people had to say about my work. Sure I should care about my movies, but when I get home I should try to leave that stuff behind.
"I couldn’t do that and I was horrific to live with. Trust me, I’m a total moron at times.”
Kate later told Vanity Fair: "There's nobody that's ever really been able to take care of me. Johnny did for a bit. I believed what he said. Like if I said, 'What do I do?' he'd tell me.
“And that's what I missed when I left. I really lost that gauge of somebody I could trust. Nightmare. Years and years of crying. Oh, the tears!"
