They're two of the biggest names in showbiz, but it may come as a shock to many that singer Adele and former royal Meghan Markle have formed a strong friendship.
Following Adele's interview with Oprah Winfrey – which aired last night in the States – many have been curious as to whether or not Meghan put in a good word for Adele to nab the huge TV special.
Whilst both the stunning stars live in the Hollywood Hills, how their friendship came to be is quite puzzling for many to wrap their heads around…

Meeting and bonding over charity
Whilst it's unknown exactly when the two celebs first met, back in 2018 they were photographed together for the first – and only – time.
Meghan and Prince Harry were pictured with Adele as they all volunteered at the Hubb Community Kitchen in London, with the pictures released a year later in 2019.
All three of the celebs were snapped along with a number of other people during an apparent 'secret visit'.
At the time it was believed this was Prince Harry's first ever visit to the community kitchen, which aims to provide support for those affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
Adele and the Sussexes were neighbours
Hollywood is much smaller than it seems, as Adele actually ended up landing some pretty incredible neighbours after Prince Harry and Meghan moved in next door,
Following the Duke and Duchess' shock exit from the royal family, they decided to move out to the US after a short stay in Canada.
Once they'd decided on California – Meghan's home state – They first ended up staying at a pal's home in the Hollywood Hills, none other than actor and director Tyler Perry.
The billionaire is a close friend of the royals, and his mansion just so happen to be right next door to Adele.
It's reported that she and her new neighbours hit it off straight away, and despite Meghan and Harry purchasing their own home in a different neighbourhood a few months later, they've stayed in touch with Adele and they frequently visit one another.
Getting fit together
A source has previously revealed to The Mirror that Adele and Meghan have bonded over their love of fitness.
After they lived only a door away from each other, the pair began taking Pilates lessons along with Prince Harry.
The source said: "Meghan and Adele have been having Pilates lessons. They are loving it.
"The instructor has also been giving lessons to Harry. It’s a great stress-buster.”
School recommendations
Meghan and Harry are of course parents to two children – son Archie and daughter Lilibet – whilst Adele is a mum to son Angelo.
It was claimed by the Sunday Mirror that Adele had been teaching the royals the ways of California schooling, even suggesting a pre-school to the couple for their own tots.
The source said: "Adele loves the neighborhood. She's also recommended her son Angelo's pre-school and discreet places to take Archie where they won’t be bombarded by fans.
"Meghan and Harry want to see how they get on in the area first before they commit to buying somewhere.”
