Inside pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas’ family holiday to Abu Dhabi

Lucy Mecklenburgh and Ryan Thomas have managed to escape the UK for a babymoon in Dubai ahead of the birth of their second child.

The reality star and her Coronation Street actor other half are staying at the St Regis Hotel on Saadiyat Island with their one-year-old son, Roman.

The family have enjoyed an action pack break including a trip to the zoo where Roman was pictured with a giraffe.

The family hit also hit the Yas Waterworld where Lucy gave followers a full tour via her Instagram stories.

The reality star explained that the park is perfect for all ages, before filming an area for younger children like Roman.

Lucy is currently working on getting Roman sleeping through the night and reported that they’ve had some success while away.

Sharing a snap of the little one in his cot in the morning, she shared: “Yay, third night lucky! Even if it was in Mummy bed and Daddy slept on the sofa lol”.

Posting a snap of him running on the beach that morning, Ryan said: "That early morning wake up call wasn’t pleasant but that sunrise made it all worth while."

The former reality TV star announced she is pregnant with her second child in a post on Monday 8 November, and she has since asked her followers to guess the gender of her baby.

A huge 75 per cent of her followers think Lucy will be having a girl in 2022, while 25 per cent of her followers think she could welcome another son.

Speculation that Lucy is expecting a baby girl started a few days ago when Lucy's fiancé, Ryan Thomas, posted a sweet photo of his family watching a firework display last month.

Some eagle-eyed followers thought that due to a pink tinge in the display, a gender reveal party may have taken place in the form of a fireworks event.

One user said: "Lucy announced she's expecting baby 2 with Ryan and this has got to be the gender reveal."

Another inquisitive user added: "Meant to tag you yesterday and say I bet they are expecting and it's a girl."

Lucy also recently revealed the differences between her two experiences of pregnancy, saying: "Even though I have had sickness and exhaustion like I cannot move off the sofa, its been a lot better than my first pregnancy!

"Last time I was sick 7 times a day for 13 weeks. This time wasn’t as bad but I did have bad pregnancy sickness for around 3-4 weeks, usually morning and evening. I could control it more this time with regular beige snacks."
