In January 2013, YouTube star Gabi DeMartino tweeted, “Justin Bieber, I’m in love with you.” One year later, the “No Brainer” singer was asking her out on a date and — get this!! — she said NO! Here’s the tea, which she spilled in a recent vlog titled “Justin Bieber asked me out (not clickbait).”
The 23-year-old YouTuber saw the 25-year-old crooner during New York Fashion Week back in 2014 and, because she was a HUGE fan, immediately ran up to him to chat.
She recalls, “When I went up to him he was asking me all these questions like, ‘What’s your name? Where are you from?’ He told me I was beautiful and then asked me what I was doing after the fashion show.”

The encounter happened around Valentine’s Day, so Gabi told the Biebs that she had plans with then-boyfriend Brandon Grupe.
“He asked me if I wanted to go to the after party with him and I said sorry and that I couldn’t.”
Gabi says her interaction with JB “kind of ended there,” but she still wonders what could have been if she would’ve accepted his offer.
“I could be in Hailey [Baldwin]‘s place right now!” she jokes. “He actually ended up being a real jerk, my ex-boyfriend, soooo…”
The “Out From Under You” singer has been happily dating Collin Vogt for more than three years now, so while she didn’t find love with Justin, she’s still getting her happily ever after. Check out the full video where Gabi explains what went down above!
