Justin Bieber teases new ‘wedding music’ after Hailey Baldwin nuptials
You better Beliebe it.
Justin Bieber, fresh off his religious wedding ceremony with wife Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin), posted that he’ll be releasing new music this Friday.
“New music. Wedding music. @DanAndShay and this guy. FRIDAY,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
The blushing groom didn’t reveal much about the music he’ll drop this week. But judging by his collaborators, it may be a little bit country. In the tweet, Biebs tagged country duo Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney. The video that accompanied the tweet showed pink and blue flowers blooming, as well as a blue and pink plus sign.
Over the past year, Bieber has been open with his mental health struggles. He hasn’t put out a full album since 2015’s “Purpose,” though he’s been featured on several singles, especially as of late.
In May, the 25-year-old pop star returned to the music scene with a feature on Ed Sheeran’s “No. 6 Collaborations Project” album with the hit “I Don’t Care.” And in July, he had a remixed verse on Billie Eilish’s song “Bad Guy.” But before this summer, Bieber was last featured in July 2018 on DJ Khaled’s song “No Brainer,” along with Quavo and Chance the Rapper.
Last month, Bieber tipped fans to his latest project, tweeting that “more is coming,” in regards to his music.
Bieber’s wedding venue also could be a clue toward the style of the new music. After a civil ceremony at city hall in NYC in September 2018, the Biebers hosted a black-tie religious ceremony and reception in South Carolina on Monday. Dan and Shay’s country music makes sense for a Southern party.
