On Tuesday, Kim Kardashian announced Kate Moss as the new face of her billion-dollar shapewear and loungewear line.
In Skims’ summer campaign, the 47-year-old fashion legend poses topless in boxer briefs from the brand; in other shots, she models bras and undies in shades of black, white and nude.
“I first met Kate in 2014 through Riccardo Tisci, and was instantly struck by her cheeky humor, authentic and classic beauty – we’ve been friends ever since!,” Kardashian tweeted.
“She is THE fashion icon, defining a whole generation of style and I am honored to feature her as the new face of @SKIMS this Summer!,” she added.
Though the duo have been friends for years, they toured the Vatican together with Moss’ 18-year-old daughter, Lila, just last month.
While Kim turned heads in a lace dress with racy cutouts that tested the limits of the holy site’s dress code, Moss wore a knee-length black dress and leather jacket for the outing.
It’s shaping up to be a big summer for Skims: Kardashian also recently revealed that her brand will provide Team USA’s underwear and pajamas at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
Skims’ new Team USA collection, modeled in a special campaign by athletes including soccer player Alex Morgan and swimmer Haley Anderson, is now available to shop online.
