- Princess Charlotte and Madeleine’s son were born within a month of each other
- The Swedish royal’s latest arrival Princess Adrienne was born at start of March
Every aspect of being a royal is carefully planned, including when to start – and expand – a family.
And the Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Madeleine of Sweden have illustrated this perfectly – with all three of their children born within months of each other.
Kate, 36, had eldest child Prince George in July 2013, with the birth of Madeleine’s eldest child Princess Leonore following seven months later in February 2014.
Princess Charlotte was born just over a year later in May 2015, while Madeleine’s second child Prince Nicolas was born a month later in June 2015.
Meanwhile, the Swedish royal, 35, gave birth to daughter Princess Adrienne at the start of March, with Kate’s new baby son arriving just over a month later.

Madeleine is married to financier husband Chris O’Neill, 43, and is the youngest child of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
Like Kate, Madeleine was forced to announce her third pregnancy early in August, after it emerged the news had got out.
The Duchess of Cambridge also announced she was pregnant in September before the traditional three month mark, after again suffering severe morning sickness during her third pregnancy.
Kate and William’s third child, whose name has not been revealed yet, was born on Monday, weighing 8lb 7oz.

Madeleine opened up her own Instagram account in March, sharing a series of cute snaps of her new baby.
The new arrivals have come amidst a spate of royal baby births, with Princess Caroline of Hanover’s son, Andrea Casiraghi, and his wife, Tatiana Santo Domingo, becoming parents for the third time over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Prince Philip and Princess Danica of Serbia welcomed their first son, Prince Stefan, at the end of February.
Prince Ernst August Jr of Hanover and his Russian fashion designer wife Ekaterina Malysheva also welcomed their first child – a daughter, Elisabeth – in February.
