Laura Lee Dropped Sponsors, Businesses Cut Ties, Racist Tweets

The aftermath of Laura Lee‘s recent scandal is becoming way more than just receiving hate online. The 29-year-old has been dropped by some of her biggest sponsors — including Morphe Brushes, Ulta Beauty, BoxyCharm and DIFF Eyewear — just days after racist tweets from 2012 were exposed.

The beauty guru’s cosmetics line, Laura Lee Los Angeles, was set to be stocked in all Ulta Beauty stores soon, but the company told YouTuber Sanders Kennedy it decided to hold off on their partnership in the wake of the controversy so it could review the situation.

The Blast now confirms, according to a spokesperson from the company, that Ulta will not be stocking Laura’s cosmetics line.

“We have decided not to move forward with the launch of Laura Lee Los Angeles,” the statement reads. “Ulta Beauty values equality and inclusivity in all that we do.”

DIFF Eyewear worked with Laura to create the DIFF x Laura Lee Peachy Collaboration, but decided to pull the collection from its website in the wake of the scandal.

The company has allegedly been telling customers, according to The Blast, “We’ve taken this issue very seriously and do not support the comments that were made. At this time, our Peachy frames are unavailable for purchase. Thank you for your understanding.”

Laura is known for her partnership with Morphe Brushes, and while the company hasn’t released an official statement regarding the status of their relationship, the YT star is no longer featured on the “Extended Fam” section of the company’s website, her favorites collection is gone and all her products are listed as sold out.
