Lucy Fallon has a very eccentric home that she has spent the past couple of years decorating with her now ex-boyfriend Tom Leech.

The former Coronation Street star, who played Bethany Platt in the soap for five years, has showed off her quirky personality in the decor.

Inside the actress has opted for bold animal print wallpaper and added touches like pink walls in her bathroom and patterned rugs in her dressing room.

It was reported that the couple had split after lockdown "drove them apart", as it was also suggested that while Tom saw marriage in their near future Lucy wasn't ready for that or starting a family.

Lucy previously said: "Starting a family is ages away. There is loads I want to do. I'm not ready for that and we're quite selfish."

And the former soap star also admitted she knew Tom wouldn't propose during the romantic trip, adding: "It didn't even cross my mind.

"Hopefully I'll be like that until it happens so it's a surprise. If I was like that every time we went away I'd be thinking, 'Damn it, he didn't do it again!'"

During lockdown, Lucy has been regularly sharing outfit selfies with her 510,000 fans from her dressing room which features a full-length silver gilt framed mirror.

There's also a white and black fluffy geometric rug, a comfy arm chair and a dressing table with a bright Hollywood style vanity mirror and bulb lighting perfect for Lucy to do her make-up in.

Back in May Lucy showed off her styling skills by posting five different looks wearing the same Topshop black croc print trousers writing in the caption: "5 ways to wear my new fave @topshop croc jeans… can you tell I was bored today? let me know which one is ur fave!!!"

Elsewhere upstairs Lucy has gone bold and brave with her bedroom design, explaining that she sought inspiration from Pinterest.

"I have been pinning pictures on Pinterest for over two years of how I wanted this room to look and finally it is how I always imagined it would be (but even better)," she wrote.

In the snap she's posed on her rusty red coloured bed from furniture company Arighi Bianchi which was covered in a zig-zag patterned bed spread and bright blue and yellow cushions.

Not stopping there with the prints, the feature wall is Dalmatian spot print which clashes well with the bed spread and is offset with a neutral grey carpet.

Lucy added bright finishing touches by hanging three neon lightning bolts above the bed head as well as multicoloured lampshade. And instead of bedside tables the soap star opted for a chic mirrored cabinet with three drawers topped off with mini ornaments.

She has also chosen a millennial pink shade for her bathroom finished with a huge circular black mirror.

Lucy's quirky decor flows throughout the home down to her open plan living room and dining area, with the feature wall running alongside one wall decorated in a colourful wallpaper printed with different exotic animals and feathers.

There's also a framed gold bee illustration hanging on the wall above the dining table, a nod to the city of Manchester which has the worker bee as its emblem.

An impressive vintage guitar also takes pride of place which is just above the deep blue velvet sofas the couple have picked out to decorate the room.

The dining area also proves to be the perfect spot for Lucy to practise yoga as the hardwood floors are sturdy enough and prevent her from slipping around on her yoga mat.

There's also more bright touches via a patterned rug that clashes with the wallpaper and a small grey coffee table.

A set of white folding doors also appears to lead out onto their back garden, which she hasn't shared yet.

In their front room Lucy has toned down the patterns and prints for a light olive green colour, and added finishing touches like a black grid mirror and mini candelabras attached to the wall to provide romantic lighting.

More nods to Lucy's love for music come in the form of a framed black and white image of Blondie, and a vinyl record by Amy Winehouse is propped up on shelves on the opposite side of the room.

And in contrast to the deep blue velvet couches in her back room, Lucy has gone for a chic dark leather and suede two piece set.

Sharing the finished room back in September, ahead of her leaving Coronation Street, Lucy wrote: "We have a complete living room! (Front room hehe) Here is a pic of me enjoyin friends on my iPad. Something I do pretty much every night. Our beaaaautiful Mirror is from: @williamwoodmirrors [sic]"

And, recently, the blonde star created an enviable gallery wall using an eclectic array of prints.

Taking to Instagram, Lucy shared the process with her 510,000 followers, writing: "As most of you probably already know, we love a bit of colour in our house. Every room has got a little bit of ‘something’ So while we were decorating our spare room in lockdown, we knew that we needed to add that bit of ‘something’ here too!

Lucy continued: "Our gorgeous prints and frames are from @desenio. We used the gallery wall feature on their website which was super simple to use and helped us to create our perfect gallery wall."

The wall, in a teal shade, is decorated by Lucy with prints of all shapes and sizes and Lucy shared a video of herself getting to work on the space.

Lucy, who is believed to command an estimated £2,850 per Instagram post following her decision to quit Corrie, recently revealed she is open to returning to the soap if bosses will have her as the coronavirus pandemic has put a halt on her career.

The 24 year old made the decision to quit the ITV show back in May 2019, with her last scenes airing in March 2020, explaining that she would like "pursue other projects".
