Malik Beasley publicly apologized Sunday to his estranged wife, Montana Yao, following his drama-filled romance with Larsa Pippen.

Taking to Instagram, the Minnesota Timberwolves guard, 24, penned a lengthy message to Yao, with whom he shares 2-year-old son Makai, after making headlines for stepping out on her with the “Real Housewives of Miami” alum, 46, last year.

“I wana say sorry for putting you in the situation you were put in the last few months.. my head wasn’t were it was supposed to be.. I was looking for more when it was right here that whole time.. I’m telling the world and you that there’s no body like you for me,” Beasley captioned a throwback photo of his family of three.

Beasley, the 19th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, was first linked to Pippen in November 2020 when the two were photographed holding hands in Miami. The images came as a shock to Yao, who was said to have been “blindsided,” according to TMZ. She later filed for divorce.

Amid the split, Yao, 23, claimed that Beasley had kicked her and their son out of their house.

While Beasley has not addressed the model’s accusation that he left her and Makai “with no where [sic] to go and nothing but 2 suit cases [sic],” he acknowledged in his post on Sunday that he is “trying to grow individually” and seeks “forgiveness.”

“For the record I was the one who ended my last relationship off the fact that there is no one like you .. also for the record i wanted to do my own ish cuz I just left u guys and I def ain’t the type to set up pictures at the mall n ish .. as that’s some childish ish and I’m trying to grow individually and grow a family .. a real family,” he wrote.

“I ain’t looking to be judged I’m looking for forgiveness.. To forgive me for hurting my family the way I did. At the end of the day I’m a lover boy and I miss holding y’all and loving y’all.. I love you mu shi .. I love you kai Kai ❤️ my family over thing [sic].”

Beasley’s plea to Yao comes over a month after Page Six confirmed that he and Pippen had parted ways.

“Larsa has been recovering from a torn calf muscle and been focusing on her businesses,” an insider told us in April.

Pippen, who shares four children with estranged husband and former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen, had previously maintained that she and Beasley became an item after he and Yao separated.

Prior to her romance with Beasley, Pippen was briefly linked to rapper Future.

A rep for Yao did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
