Primark Online Shopping – When is the high street giant launching a click and collect service and what are the stores opening times? – The Sun

HIGH street giant Primark is set to trial a click and collect service, giving customers a chance to reserve items before getting them in store.

But when will this service be rolled out? Here's what we know.

What is the click and collect service?

The click and collect service will give customers a chance to beat the crowds and reserve goods online before getting them in store.

The company's chief executive Paul Marchant told a group of analysts about launching the service.

Customers of the high street giant are sure to love this as items frequently fly off the shelves and sell out.

When will this service get rolled out?

Marchant told a group of analysts earlier this month about launching the service, Davy reports.

It has been reported that the click and collect is “on the horizon.”

It added that “even when rolled out, a click-and-collect offering will only drive an incremental benefit for Primark.”

The service is expected to launch in 2020.

Despite the decision to branch out into ecommerce Davy adds “of the top-20 retailers, which hold 70 per cent of the UK market, Primark is the only one with no online presence, yet it has achieved the largest market share gains over the last decade.”
