REAL Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice confesses viewing the Bravo show while in jail was almost too painful to watch.
Joe spent more than three years in prison for mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud.
While in jail, Joe would occasionally watch ‘RHONJ’ – thanks to a fellow inmate’s interest in the show.
Appearing in a Bravo Insider video which was released on Monday, Joe told Andy Cohen: “I remember the one episode where my daughter was waving through the window when I was leaving to go to Fort Dix.
“That was gut-wrenching. I couldn’t even watch that.”
He was also able to view ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ during his time in two Federal Correctional Institutions, Fort Dix in New Jersey and Allenwood in Pennsylvania.
“I didn’t watch it that much, but I would watch certain things here and there. I more read magazines and stuff like that,” Joe admitted.
Joe, his wife Teresa, and their four daughters Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana, 10, have since reunited after his release on March 14.
Joe began his 41-month prison sentence in March 2016 after being found guilty of
mail, wire, and bankruptcy fraud.
Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison in October 2014 on multiple fraud charges.
