Stacey Solomon shares creative DIY hack to store accessories – and it looks so pretty
Lockdown is upon us and with lots of time spent indoors it is the perfect time to get try out some DIY. Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has done just that, choosing to spend Tuesday morning creating a very unique accessories holder.
Taking to her Instagram stories Stacy uploaded a video of herself in the garden of her drilling into a stick on her lawn, alongside the caption: “Hoe [Joe Swash] bought me back a pretty stick. Some love flowers, some sticks. I was over the moon” alongside some laughing faces. [sic]
“So I’m using some string, hooks and fake flowers to try and make it something useful”.
Stacey also filmed herself tying string into the stick before sharing an image of the materials she was using which were sticks, a drill, fake flower crowns and string.
But what was she making? Well, Stacey utilised her ‘tap to tidy’ Instagram format in which followers can tap to see the finished product, but these time altering it to read ‘tap to make’.
She then showed the fruits of her labour which was a stick hanging from string and wrapped with little white flowers.
The item serves as a storage unit of sorts holding an array of Stacey accessories, including pretty hairbands, some leather belts and a silk scarf.
The cute item had Stacey laughing, as she said: “Lots of you asking ‘what the hell is it?’ If I’m honest with you i don’t know. I’m running out of things to hang up. This is my ‘random accessories I never wear hanger’.”
This is not the first makeshift hanger Stacey has made. Earlier this year she even made a rail to hang up crisps.
The Loose women panellist showed her 3.2 million followers that her genius trick in which she hung her crisp packets, filed by colour, on a curtain rail and using shower curtains rings with clips.
Taking to Instagram again, the star explained: "I had so many of these tension rods leftover, so I went out and bought some curtain ties with clips on the end”.

She then wrote in her stories: "Honestly I just say here cracking up at myself for how happy this has made me. Why do I love it so much?" [sic]
She giggled away in the background adding: "I really don't know why this makes me so happy but it does!"
