Strictly’s Oti Mabuse reveals amazing hair transformation in lockdown as she teases online dance class
STRICTLY Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse has unveiled her amazing hair transformation as she opted for a shorter style in lockdown.
The 30-year-old – who became the first ever professional on the BBC show to win two years in a row – took to Instagram to show off her new look.
After securing the glitterball trophy with comedian Bill Bailey last month, Oti showed off her transformation as she teased her live salsa classes.
She and husband Marius Iepure, 37, will be hosting the dance-alongs live on Instagram for fans to join in with at home from tomorrow.
Oti told fans, swishing her short hair back and forth: "We're going to dance it out at 11am in the morning," with Marius chiming in: "A salsa!"
The Strictly star first revealed her short hairstyle, a pixie cut that falls gently over her forehead, in an Instagram post on Sunday.
Smiling for the camera, Oti wrote: "Realised I've been posting dog pictures which is so not like me, so I thought I should break the pattern with a selfie.
The new look received high praise from fans and her fellow Strictly professionals including Karen Hauer and Amy Dowden.
"Cute hair, love that," wrote Australian dancer Diane Buswell, with Karen adding: "Cutie you are".
Another photo showed Oti and dance partner Bill Bailey as they were reunited to appear on Steph McGovern's Packed Lunch.
Strictly dancer Johannes Radebe shared love for the stars' hair writing: "The hair, please!" alongside fire and heart-eyed emojis.
Oti triumphed in the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside Bill, impressing viewers with their final dances – a Couple's choice to 'Rapper's Delight' by The Sugarhill Gang and a Showdance to Queen's 'The Show Must Go On'.
The victory was the second in a row for Oti, who won the 2019 series with former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher.
She also placed second with former Hollyoaks actor Danny Mac in 2016.
