Studio is selling a 3-in-1 BBQ for £55 and it cooks pizzas and rotisserie chickens too
IT MIGHT have been a wash out July so far, but don't let that stop you enjoying a summer BBQ.
Studio is selling a 3-in-1 grill that can cook pizzas and rotisserie chicken as well as classic BBQ dishes like burgers and hotdogs.
The Hairy Bikers cooker includes a rotisserie extension and comes with an 18-inch cooking grill and a pizza stone.
It is also on wheels, making it easy to move around to find the sunniest – or driest – spot in the garden.
It is available on Studio's website, and 31% has been knocked off the price.
The kettle BBQ now costs £54.99, compared to the previous price of £79.99, saving shoppers £25.
How to compare prices to get the best deal
JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn’t mean it’s always a good deal.
There are plenty of comparison websites out there that'll check prices for you – so don't be left paying more than you have to.
Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.
Here are some that we recommend:
- Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
- Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
- Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
- CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
You'll also have to pay for delivery, so factor the cost of that into the overall price.
Studio charges £4.99 for standard delivery within mainland UK, and you should expect to wait three to seven days for your BBQ to arrive.
As Studio is an online-only retailer, you won't be able to pop into a shop to buy the grill.
It's always best to shop around online before parting with your cash to make sure you're getting the best deal.
While discounts can be tempting, remember that unless you were already planning on making a purchase it's not really a saving.
Studio's 3-in-1 BBQ was one of the cheapest options we found online, although there were a few with a similar price tag.
Robert Dyas is selling a charcoal grill that comes with a pizza oven extension for £69.99 – down from £99.99.
This Argos BBQ is also set up to cook pizzas outdoors, but will set you back £85.
But neither of these options includes a rotisserie chicken cooking option.
Wayfair is selling a 3-in-1 BBQ, but that is focused on different methods of cooking rather than different foods.
It has options for grilling, smoking and roasting and is available online for £59.59.
In other BBQ news, Aldi is selling a portable grill for £30 that folds away like a briefcase.
If you're looking for ways to entertain the kids this summer, Morrisons has up to 33% off toys with prices starting from just £3.50
