Surgeon says they trim patients’ pubes when they’re in theatre

A surgeon lifted lid on the out-of-sight scenes in the operating room – and explained why they sometimes have to trim patients' pubic hair.

NHS doctor Dr Karan Raj explained what could happen in the theatre while you are being put to sleep during the surgery.

He says on TikTok: "We shaved your pubes while you sleep – and your body hair in any place where we're going to operate.

"So, if you do not want me trimming your hedge, do it yourself the night before surgery."

Dr Karan also says they move around the patients on the operating table some times.

"We have you in all sorts of weird positions on the operating table, so we can get better access to some body parts," he continues.

"We listen to all sorts of music when we operate – drum and bass, hip hop… But don't worry, no one listens to 'Another One Bites The Dust'."

Many who didn't know about this actually welcomed by the idea of getting free trim.

One said: "Me coming out of the surgery with a fresh Brazilian."

"Free trim?" a second added. "Sounds like a win win."

A third who seemed to have found an answer to his doubts, saying: "This is why it looked different when I woke up."

Meanwhile, a doctor explained why you should not hold in your farts.

Dr Faraz mentioned that humans normally pass gas roughly 20 times a day and it could cause body discomfort if you trap the air inside the body.

To make it even worse, the fart smell will come up in a burp.
