In the exclusive clip from National Geographic’s Hostile Planet, narrated by Bear Grylls, two mating sea turtles need to literally stay together for the kids.
During sea turtle breeding season it is common for possessive males to try and separate mating pairs by nipping and pawing at the lovebirds. That’s the case with this clip’s couple. The duo needs to focus on procreating, not drowning and fighting off jealous suitors all at once. That is some romantic multi-tasking.
This clip comes from Hostile Planet‘s upcoming “Oceans” episode on April 8. The six-part wildlife documentary series takes viewers to the world’s most extreme environments to show how animals survive wild conditions and adapt to the rapidly changing Earth.
