Tropical crush: Moodboosting mix of flora and fauna

Tropical crush: Moodboosting mix of flora and fauna this season means you can bring a little wildness to your wardrobe without jetting away

  • Explosion of colour on spring/summer 2020 catwalks of bright flora and fauna
  • Dolce & Gabbana, had junglescapes on much of their collection with elephants
  • Versace favoured tropical green and blue palm prints for their new collection

If you like floral prints for spring, then you’ll love this season’s tropical take on the trend. Instead of the usual (predictable) English flowers, there was an explosion of colour on the spring/summer 2020 catwalks with a moodboosting mix of flora and fauna.

Dolce & Gabbana, had junglescapes on much of their collection — elephants, leopards, flamingos included — while Versace favoured tropical green and blue palm prints.

Look to the runways for inspiration, but shop from the High Street. With no holidays on the horizon why not bring a little wilderness into your wardrobe.
