Vogue unveils its annual list of 50 young men ‘shaping the future’

Forget the It Girls, here come the It BOYS! Brooklyn Beckham, Princess Margaret’s grandson and Meghan’s wedding cellist are named among the world’s 50 most influential young men

  • Miss Vogue has unveiled its annual list of the top 50 male movers and shakes  
  • The un-ranked list highlights 50 of the best young male talent in the world  
  • Includes members of the royal family, singers, actors and many models  

You’ve heard of the IT girl well now Vogue has introduced the IT boys of the moment with its annual list of influential male figures.

Printed in the publication’s teenage supplement, Miss Vogue, the list details the young men the junior style bible is celebrating in 2018. 

The un-ranked list highlights 50 of the best examples of young male talent across music, sport, film and fashion

The royals have also had an influence on this year’s list, with the cellist hand selected by Meghan and Harry to play at their wedding featured, as well as Arthur Chatto, the grandson of Princess Margaret and an up and coming Instagram heartthrob.

SHEKU KANNEH MASON, 19: The superstar cellist was hand picked by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to play at their nuptials in May, wowing the congregation while the royal couple signed the register. Miss Vogue gave the teenage prodigy added points for his Paul Smith suits

NOAH CENTINEO, 22: The American actor has practically become the poster boy for Netflix having played the love interest in both the viral hit To All the Boys I loved Before and Sierra Burgess is a Loser

CALLUM TURNER, 28: The British heartthrob skipped out on acting school in favour of modelling for brands like Burberry. Now he is finding his feet on film and is set to cast a spell on Harry Potter fans in The Crimes of Grindelwald – the sequel to Fantastic Beasts

ANSEL ELGORT, 24: Ansel won the world over thanks to his touching performance in the Fault in Our Stars and has proved just as cute off-screen with ballerina girlfriend Violetta Komyshan who has become a regular alongside him on the red carpet

HARRIS DICKINSON, 22: The actor sensationally dropped out of drama school but has since secured films definitely worth boasting about including Maleficent 2 as well as the critically acclaimed drama Trust 

ALEX LAWTHER, 23: The baby-faced actor first made an impression when he appeared in a disturbing episode of Black Mirror and has since gone on to star in the Netflix hit End of the F***ing World. He is currently appearing on stage in The Jungle at London’s Young Vic theatre

KIT BUTLER, 20: British Kit is a big name in the modelling industry right now and although he finds the job glamorous he told Miss Vogue he’d ‘never want to forget my roots’. He has previously been described as ‘the menswear answer to Cara Delevingne

TROYE SIVAN, 23: Troye is the front man of the band Bloom and is set to head out on his first world tour this year – not to mention his 9 million strong Insta following 

A SAI TA, 29: The fashion designer studied at Central St Martins and has already made a name for himself at Fashion East with the publication predicting great things for him yet 

HECTOR BELLERIN, 23: Off the pitch you would be forgiven for mistaking this Spanish footballer for a fashion blogger thanks to his Instagram account cluttered with his quirky outfit choices amid the odd goal celebration snap 

LOYLE CARNER, 23: He may have produced just one album but that was apparently all he needed to establish a very hefty fanbase – this is the third time that Loyle has made it to the list

AJ TRACEY, 24: The East London rapper has a big heart and a big following thanks to his impassioned music style 

GEORGE GRIFFITHS, 19: Another model to make the cut is flame haired George who has made a name for himself on the Milan fashion circuit thanks to his red hair and defined cheekbones

ASHTON GOHIL, 22: Yet another model Ashton has walked for designers such as Burberry – notably at Riccardo Tisci’s debut show for the brand. He is also one third of the band Levitate

DAVE, 20: The MOBO winner is currently working on his debut album having released his first single at the age of 18 with the Vogue crew admittedly big fans 

ALEX RICE, 25: Alex is a member of the indie group Sports Team, a six person band who met while they were studying at Cambridge and have had several sell out performances 

WILSON ORYEMA, 26: Now a fully established member of the fash pack model Wilson came from humble beginnings having been scouted on his lunch break and still dips his toes in his other passions including painting and poetry 

HUGH BURRY, 20: Australian born Hugh is very active when it comes to his Instagram account, boasting almost 3,000 followers – and it was his social media account that lead him to be discovered as a model 

KIT WARRINGTON, 20: Vogue alumni Kit is among the many models on the list – one of many with long hair 

KELVIN BUENO, 20: The Goldsmiths students is another of the models to dabble in music with his Instagram account littered with his latest creations 

SEHUN, 24: Described as the ‘best dressed man in K Pop’ the Korean singer has an enormous following of over 14 million on Instagram where he is often pictured with his loyal Bichon Frise

SONNY HALL, 20: Yet another model Sonny has appeared in campaigns for the likes of Marni and Fred Perry but says that his true passion lies in poetry

ALEXANDRE ARNAULT, 26: The business man is heir to the Parisian conglomerate LVMH and is currently working as chief executive for luggage brand Rimowa making him more than worthy of his place on the list of influential minds

JOSH O’CONNOR, 28: Alumni of the Bristol Old Vic Josh has proved himself to be worth his salt with his latest role seeing him take on Prince Charles in the wildy popular Netflix series The Crown 

MENA MASSOUD, 27: Thespian Mena landed the dream role when he was enlisted to play Aladdin in the live action version of the Disney classic, set to be released in 2019 

WILLOW BARRETT, 19:  Willow is another model to crop up on the Vogue’s fabulous 50 and has certainly had his fair share of fashion shows, with his social media decorated with souvenir snaps from the catwalk 

ZACH NORTON, 18: Barely into adulthood, floppy haired Zach has already forged a successful modelling career and is currently the front man for Topshop

JARREAU VANDAL, 26: In 2016 Jarreau’s ‘Small Talk’ appeared on Spotify’s list of most viral tracks and the Dutch producer has continued to delight the music industry (and Vogue) in the following years

TOM MISCH, 23: Down to earth Tom has released his debut album Geography (which he has spotted in a record shop in Japan here) which is perfect for modern day romantics 

FINN HAYTON, 20: Bournemouth born Finn has built up an impressive portfolio of modelling campaigns after he was scouted while shopping on Oxford Street as a teen 

JORDAN VICKORS, 23: Jordan is a consultant for Stüssy but is best known for his ecclectic street style looks which are praised by his 37,000 strong following

YXNG BANE, 22: Starting out producing his own music in his home of East London Yxng has now successfully amassed over 4 million streams on Spotify monthly and the rapper, who took his name from Tom Hardy’s character in Batman, is now signed to Tinie Tempah’s label

ALTON MASON, 21: His job as a model has certainly not dampened Alton’s passion for fashion with his Instagram page awash with his various stylish successes
