If you’re a die hard EastEnders fan then you may well know the Di Marco family who first came to be introduced to the show back in 1998.
The family included brothers Beppe and Gianni, younger sisters Teresa and Nicky and matriarch Rosa, and when they weren’t causing drama in Albert Square, the family ran an Italian restaurant called Guiseppe’s.
There was a major cull which saw only Beppe, played by Michael Greco, standing, and we’ve had a look at what the soap stars are up to now. Let’s take a look…

Marc Bannerman (Gianni)
You might remember Gianni from the tense row he had with the Mitchells.
The actor, who dated Nadia Sawalha while she was appearing on the show, was born in Ireland and following his soap stint he went on to star in TV shows including 2007's I'm A Celebrity and Footballers' Wives.
Recently, the 47 year old appeared in Sky's Agatha Raisin and action series Pennyworth.

The star candidly admitted that he became depressed after EastEnders, and told the Mirror: “I suffered depression and turned to the bottle to get me out of it."
The actor can be found on Twitter, where he says in his bio: “Actor and board member of a fantastic charity. Product of a postcode! Helping to make lives matter!!”
Michael Greco (Beppe)
The part of Beppe DiMarco first popped up in Albert Square in 1998 but he ended up being axed in 2002 with his final scene airing on 4 June.
And, recently, the actor who plays him has popped up sporting a new look entirely.
Appearing on Instagram, Michael spoke to his 49,000 followers with black-rimmed glasses on and a lot less hair than we’re used to seeing him with.
Joking about his new look with his fans, he caught himself on camera and said: “Oh my God I look like Harry Hill."
Michael is now 51 and he has become a huge name on the professional poker circuit.

The soap actor, who was once voted Soap's Sexiest Male at the British TV Soap Awards and the Sexiest Male Soap Star ever by readers of the Radio Times, shares insights into his life on social media.
On 10 February, the star announced he was due to become a dad for the first time at 51.
Sharing a snap of the ultrasound, an excited Michael penned: “Baby Greco. First time daddy at 51! Probably the greatest post I’ve ever shared. Cant explain how emotional it was for me to be told that I am to be a father for the very first time, with my absolute soul mate.

Michael often shares snaps with his “soul mate” Helen Harris, and often refers to her as his “beautiful girl” on Instagram.
Leila Birch (Teresa)
Leila Birch, who played Teresa, had a very busy time on the show; from run-ins with the police to love affairs with Tony Hills, Lenny Wallace and the married Ricky Butcher.
In real life, the star upped and moved to the US and she’s starred in a range of exciting roles over there, including British reporter Melody Stone in the movie WMD in 2013.

She was also the voice of Wayback machine in the hit kids' animated movie Mr. Peabody & Sherman.
Leila is 43 years old now and can be found posting to her 800 followers on Instagram, sharing snaps of her life behind-the-scenes.
Louise Jameson (Rosa)
Louise went on tour of Britain in her one-woman show Face Value after leaving hit soap EastEnders.

The actress, who played the part of Rosa, has been in a string of well-known plays and she also starred in Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap, Silent Witness, Doctor Who and Holby City.
The mum-of-two is now 69 years old and she was already a successful actress before joining EastEnders.
As well as being known for her work as a classically trained actress, the star has also written books.
She can be found tweeting to her 29,000 followers and she often shares peeks behind-the-scenes of what she’s filming.
