MANCHESTER UNITED were lucky to escape South Yorkshire with a point after a dramatic 3-3 draw against the Blades.

Sheffield United led the game 2-0 before a comeback inspired by three of United's youth products, with Mason Greenwood, Brandon Williams and Marcus Rashford all on the score sheet.

But Oli McBurnie bundled in a deserved equaliser for the hosts, leaving Ole's men with just a point for their troubles – but could Cristiano Ronaldo be on his way back?

    The are set to pocket a near-£1million payment from Juventus before the end of the 2019-20 season.

    The Red Devils will get around £850,000 from the Serie A giants as part of the £99m deal which saw Ronaldo, 34, leave the Bernabeu in the summer of 2018.

    A Man Utd source is calling the money “the second instalment of a solidarity payment”.

    Solidarity payments – introduced by Fifa in 2001 – are usually one-off lumps sums considered compensation for signing a player aged 23 or under.
