  • PAULO DYBALA is open to making a shock £80million move to Tottenham after holding talks with Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri, it has been claimed.

Spurs have emerged as surprise contenders to sign the striker after beginning negotiations with the Italian giants.

Until now it had been thought that Dybala, 25, wanted to remain in Turin and prove he can play a major role for the club going forward.

But according to Tuttosport, that position has changed after the Argentina star held talks with Juve manager Sarri about his future.

Though Sarri has publicly claimed he can see a role for the forward in his side as a false number nine, it appears Dybala is less convinced.

And it is claimed he has said yes to the prospect of making the move to Tottenham, if the London club can match the £80m valuation the Serie A champions have put on him.

Spurs are understood to have failed with an initial bid of £45m, but are expected to return with an increased offer after receiving encouraging feedback over the potential to secure a deal.

But they could face major competition to land the forward if Manchester United press on with their own interest in him.

  • DEFENDER Juan Foyth wants to become Spurs' new right-back.

  • CHELSEA are reportedly weighing up a transfer bid for Spurs target Wilfred Zaha.

The Ivorian forward has admitted desire to leave the club and seek Champions League football, following interest from ex-team Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal.

But The Telegraph claim Chelsea are considering a move for the 26-year-old once their two-window transfer embargo is up.

The Blues have lodged an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, but are currently prevented from signing any players until next summer.

Palace favour this move as they bid to keep the winger for another season.

The Eagles will also attempt to strike a deal that would see Michy Batshuayi return to Selhurst Park as part of any transfer involving Zaha.

Roy Hodgson had the Chelsea striker on loan last season, where he impressed scoring six goals in 13 games.

  • EXCLUSIVE by David Woods: EMMANUEL ADEBAYOR is in line for a shock return to the Premier League.

West Ham, Sheffield United and Watford are looking at the striker, who is a free agent.

The Hammers want a replacement for Andy Carroll and it is understood Adebayor, 35, wants to play in London after spells with Arsenal and Tottenham.

He has not played in England since 2016, when he joined Istanbul Basaksehir after a six-month spell at Crystal Palace.

Celtic are also interested in landing the Togo ace, with a couple of Serie A clubs in the frame as well.

The former Real Madrid star left Basaksehir by mutual consent yesterday.

He scored three goals in 19 appearances for the Turkish side last season.
