KRIS BOYD believes Manchester United should make a big money summer move for Celtic star Odsonne Edouard.
Speaking on Sky Sports, he said: “Talk about playing with France, is it a possibility? Yes. Do I think he'll do it with Celtic? No.
“That'll be in the back of his mind, he'll need to make that move if he's going to get in the French squad.
“I don't think it'll be January, but come next summer, if there's something of £25-30million, which is reasonable for me, I think this guy will go to the very top.
“If I was Manchester United, I would come in and give the £25-30million in the summer.
“I wouldn't be surprised if a Brighton or an Aston Villa come in and pay the £30million for Odsonne Edouard and then he goes again.”
DWIGHT McNEIL was let go by Manchester United partly because they felt his free-kicks were poor.
Which is ironic because the 19-year-old is now one of Burnley’s first-choice set-piece takers.
McNeil said: “I was released by Man United when I was 14.
“Funnily enough, one of the reasons I got released was because my set- pieces weren’t the best.
“It was quite an upsetting time for me. I was still at school as well, I was still learning.
“I came to Burnley, got put on a six-week trial and signed just before the end of the season.
“I’m a Man United fan, despite what happened. I’ll always be a Man United fan. I just wasn’t up to their standards.”
