EXCITEMENT is starting to rise for fight fans as we head towards a packed boxing schedule.

Tyson Fury appears to be in good shape ahead of Saturday's showdown with Otto Wallin, but Andy Ruiz Jr is not happy with his Mexican antics as the Brit fights for the WBC Mayan belt.

    In fact, he believes it is his birthright to eclipse his old man.

    Evan announced he was turning pro after 80 amateur contests and said: “My dad tells me every generation gets better.

    “It’s easy to believe. Number one it’s in the Bible and the Bible don’t tell lies.”

  • TYSON FURY is aiming to become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world by the end of next year as he plots three title fights.

    The Gypsy King has lined up a fight against underwhelming Swedish opponent Otto Wallin on Saturday following his win against Tom Schwarz in June.

    But he insists that once he cruises through his Nevada bout, fans will be treated to a trio of heavyweight clashes.

    Two of those will be rematches against American rival Deontay Wilderbefore taking on the winner of Anthony Joshua's fight with Andy Ruiz Jr.

    Fury said: “I intend to beat [Otto] Wallin, fight [Deontay] Wilder in February, again in June and the winner of [Anthony] Joshua and [Andy] Ruiz in December 2020.”
