Manchester United have reportedly upped their contract offer to Angel Gomes
The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and has attracted interest from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Yet Metro claim the Red Devils have already offered Gomes a salary of around £25,000-a-week on a two-year deal.
But following interest from the Blues, United have offered a third year with instalments that could see the teenager net around £30k-a-week.
Roy Keane's gold Aston Martin DB7 Vantage has been put up for sale for just under £24,000.
The Irish hardman bought the flash motor to celebrate Manchester United’s Treble-winning campaign in 1999.
There was no expense spared when Keane treated himself to the 3.2-litre vehicle over 20 years ago.
As a constant reminder of his glory days, the midfielder ordered his car with a one-off gold paint job.
It comes complete with black leather interior, an automatic gearbox and only has 60,000 miles on the clock.
The car was registered in 1998 – just one year before United won the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup.
MAN OF THE PEOPLE
Manchester United are pressing ahead with the development of Old Trafford that will vastly increase the options and capacity for disabled fans to attend matches.
The club have been working closely with the Manchester United Disabled Supporters’ Association [MUDSA] in order to improve their facilities and make their historic home as accessible as possible for all match-goers.
The Red Devils have confirmed that 118 new wheelchair positions are being created, as well as 158 new amenity seats across four locations of the stadium.
Paul could be lured to Real Madrid from Manchester United because of his relationship with Zinedine Zidane, claims Dimitar Berbatov.
The former Red Devils striker – now a Betfair Ambassador – said “If he was to move, wherever he goes he will be fine.
“He knows that if it isn't working out that there is always a team waiting for him some place else and if he goes he'll play and do well.
“One thing I will say about the Real Madrid rumours is, don't forget Zinedine Zidane is manager there.
“When you have a manager or other players from the same country you always speak and know that you will get on, especially speaking the same language.
“It makes you feel comfortable and that is not to be underestimated in this situation.”
PAUL THE OTHER ONE
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has admitted that his Old Trafford career could have been a lot shorter after refused to play in a League Cup tie against Arsenal.
In an interview with former team-mate Gary Neville, Scholes said: “I don't know why I did what I did in 2001, but it is something I really regretted doing.
“I wasn't in a great mood. I had been left out the Liverpool game the previous weekend and I knew that the team going down to Arsenal in the cup was basically a reserve side.
“I just got a bee in my bonnet that I wasn't happy with things.
“I had my reasons but it was stupid really. I ended up getting fined and having to apologise, but I was lucky.
“The manager would have been within his rights to get rid of me.”
