Stephan Lichtsteiner looks set to drop out of the side which lost 5-1 to Liverpool on Sunday, with Hector Bellerin fit again.
Laurent Koscielny is expected to start ahead of Shkodran Mustafi at centre-back.
While Alexandre Lacazette may be reinstated ahead of Ainsley Maitland-Niles who is understood to have picked up a knock at Anfield, forcing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out to the flanks.
However, Bernd Leno, Sokratis and Sead Kolasinac look set to keep their places at the back despite a horror-show performance against Liverpool.
And Matteo Guendouzi could remain on the bench, with Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira preferred in midfield.
Meanwhile, Alex Iwobi and Aaron Ramsey look set to be involved again in more advanced roles behind the striker.
And there could even be a place in the squad for Mesut Ozil, who is recovering from a knee injury.
But Unai Emery will definitely be without long-term casualties Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Konstantinos Mavropanos will play no part in the game either as the Gunners welcome struggling Fulham to the Emirates.
