South Korean third seed Hyeon Chung will play American world No.53 Ryan Harrison in the third quarter-final.
Second-seeded Nick Kyrgios will play his round of 16 match with American Noah Rubin on Friday.
The winner will face either France's Jeremy Chardy or Britain's Cameron Norrie.
