AUSTRALIA cricket team were blasted by their own fans for a "classless" trophy presentation following their 4-0 Ashes win over England.
Joe Root – himself having to get off his hospital bed on the final day – saw his side lose by an innings and 123 runs in Sydney.
The England skipper was fast asleep when the urn was officially handed over to the hosts, but the controversy did not stop there.
Aussie captain Steve Smith was centre stage as his side hoisted the Ashes trophy and replica urn.
But behind them was a giant blue hand with the Australia flag holding up four fingers.
The other side of them stood a huge white hand, covered in the St George's cross, with a clenched fist – signalling the 4-0 victory for the hosts.
