Ben Alexander has decided to retire from professional rugby.
The most-capped player in ACT Brumbies history has retired from rugby, prop Ben Alexander deciding to end his career after a decade of packing down in scrums.
The Brumbies are expected to confirm Alexander's retirement on Monday morning, with the 154-game veteran simply deciding "the time has come".
Alexander will finish his playing days as one of the most respected players in Super Rugby and one of the most-loved by fans. He also played 72 Tests for Australia and is one of the most-capped front-rowers in Australian history.
